Too Faced - The Chocolate Bar

13/04/2014

The Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette is a makeup lovers dream.  As soon as you open the palette, the smell of sweet chocolate envelops you and the sights of the shadows immediately spark imagination and creativity!  I new I had to get my hands on this beaut and I was so excited when it finally made its way into my collection!!
Have been loving paring my fave colours of this palette with Razzle Dazzle Rose and Sweet heart blush
The eye shadows are pigmented with pure, antioxidant-rich cocoa powder, most of the shadows have a smooth texture (some of the shimmer shades have a slight chunky glitter) and blend beautifully.  The palette includes 16 matte and shimmer shades of natural browns, soft pinks and pops of plums and burgundy's. So whether you are into soft neutral looks, sultry smokey looks or something with a pop of colour your are covered.  In saying that the colours are completely neutral so don't expect chartreuse or blues.  This palette was designed superbly and suits all skin tones and abilities, so as you inhale the sweet chocolate sent just the let the colours absorb you and get creating.
Some of my faves are: Hazlenut, Creme Brulee, Haute Chocolate, Cherry Cordial, Champagne Truffle and my absolute favourite is Salted Caramel
The palette includes Too Faced' signature how-to Glamour Guide with three looks to get you started, all of which are easy to recreate and help you start to pair up the shadows with ease.  Another very smart aspect of the palette design is the fact that the highlight shades are the size of two regular pans.  One shade is matte and one is has a subtle pink undertone and shimmer, bother make perfect inner corner and brow highlights, as well as a quick and easy wash of colour over the lid for a simple day look.  If you haven't already, go and get your hands on this palette, it will be perfect for all seasons and provide so many fun options.

I LOVE this palette, there are endless looks and is a perfect palette for travelling.

What palette have you been loving lately?  Let me know in the comments below.
